Frequently Asked Questions

If you have additional questions, please contact us here.

Why should I choose uPVC over standard aluminum for my home in Puerto Rico?

Aluminum is a highly conductive metal that transfers outside heat directly into your home, and it corrodes quickly when exposed to coastal salitre (salt air). Our architectural-grade uPVC frames are 100% immune to salt corrosion. They will never pit, rust, or freeze in their tracks, and they act as natural thermal insulators to keep the Caribbean heat outside.

Will uPVC windows turn yellow or warp in the tropical sun?

No. While cheap, off-the-shelf plastics degrade and discolor under UV light, our European and North American profiles are heavily UV-stabilized and specifically formulated for extreme sun exposure. They are structurally reinforced with internal galvanized steel, ensuring they maintain their pristine finish and rigid shape for decades without ever needing to be sanded or painted.

How do your windows help lower my electricity bill?

It comes down to eliminating thermal transfer. Our multi-chambered frames and multi-point locking systems create a completely airtight seal, stopping expensive air conditioning from leaking out. Combined with our advanced Low-E (low-emissivity) climate glass, our windows block over 70% of solar heat from entering your rooms, drastically reducing the daily workload on your AC units.

Are your windows built to survive a hurricane?

Yes. We engineer our systems for Category-5 wind loads and heavy impact. A hurricane window is only as strong as its weakest point, which is why we don't just rely on impact glass. Our systems feature steel-reinforced frames and heavy-duty, multi-point locking hardware that secures the window at several locations simultaneously—preventing the extreme negative pressure of a storm from sucking the window open.

Do you offer custom sizes for architectural projects?

Absolutely. Every window and door we build is custom-manufactured to the exact millimeter of your home’s rough openings. We do not use standard warehouse sizes. Whether you need oversized heavy-duty sliding doors for a beachfront villa, or acoustic tilt-and-turn windows for a busy San Juan street, we engineer the system to match your exact architectural specifications.
